Josh is a registered psychologist who has worked extensively with adolescents and young adults, particularly in the realm of psychosis, and currently works in a Primary School setting as a psychologist. He is also the founder and Principal Psychologist of Bloom Psychological Services.
Josh completed a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Psychology and a Post Graduate Diploma in Psychology. He is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a member of both the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc (AAPI)
After completing his degree in 2008, an interest in severe and persistent mental illness saw him work with a diverse range of clients through multiple roles with the Schizophrenia Fellowship of NSW (now One Door Mental Health) and more recently with young people 12-25 through headspace services, where he held a variety of clinical and managerial roles.
Josh has completed extensive training in CBT, as well as training in ACT, DBT, Narrative, and systemic based approaches. He enjoys taking a holistic, person centred and strength- based approach to therapeutic intervention.
