Ingrid is a registered psychologist who communicates hope to her clients. She knows that people can change, and she enjoys seeing people’s confidence grow. She is flexible and adapts treatment modes to suit your needs. She works collaboratively with you to set goals.

Ingrid’s clinical experience over the last 20 years has been gained through working in disability agencies, employment services, the Lifeline Crisis Counselling service, and private practice. Ingrid sees individuals aged 16 years and over. Ingrid is also a qualified life coach. She recognises that people are people everywhere and that life can be seriously hard sometimes.

Ingrid has extensive experience using evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), Mindfulness-based techniques, Motivational Interviewing, Assertiveness Training, and Anger Management tools.

She helps individuals work through anxiety, stress, depression, addiction and trauma. She can assist you if you are going through grief and loss, relationship or sexual difficulties, vocational uncertainties, body image issues, parenting challenges, and low self-esteem. Ingrid also sees clients wishing to overcome addiction, and to optimally manage chronic pain or chronic health issues.
