Hi, I'm Jimmy and what's most important to me is that you leave therapy with a sense of hope. I want to help you feel empowered to be the person you want to be. I take a client-led approach, meaning that we'll work together to address what you want to work on and I won't push you to discuss anything you're not ready for. Together, we'll design a personalized treatment plan that you feel willing and able to engage in - a plan that revolves around growth. My goal is to help you not only manage symptoms but also enhance your overall well-being. I'm here to guide you towards a more fulfilling and meaningful future.
I'm predominantly trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), but I also integrate various other therapies such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Solutions focused CBT, Motivational Interviewing (MI), Positive Psychology, and Schema Therapy.
I believe that your well-being and progress should be measured and tracked using data, which is why I use a unique approach called Feedback Informed Treatment (FIT). This means that your therapy will adapt to be tailored to your needs. Like shaping clay, I'll help you design a style of therapy that fits your personal preferences and needs.
