Biography:
Beth is a registered Counselling Psychologist with over 25 years’ experience in private practice providing psychological therapy for depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, chronic illness, complex pain, and sleep difficulties. She also provides clinical hypnotherapy for pain, tinnitus, fears and phobias, self-confidence, and overcoming addictions. Beth specialises in assisting people injured at work or in motor vehicle accidents.
Beth has an empathic, practical and client-centred approach to therapy. She uses a variety of evidence-based treatments including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), cognitive processing therapy (CPT), solution-focused approaches and mindfulness techniques. Beth is a member of the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc. and the Australian Society of Clinical Hypnosis and also is an Adjunct Senior Researcher at Monash University.
