Biography:
Patrick enjoys working with children, adolescent, young people, adults and their families/support systems to overcome their mental health difficulties. He draws on a wealth of experience and knowledge of treatment modalities and approaches to inform his clinical practice. Patrick is trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Family Based Therapy for Anorexia Nervosa (FBT-AN), as well as various cognitive and academic psychometric testing assessments.
His area of interest includes Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder in both children and adults, Anxiety Disorders, Trauma, Mental Health Difficulties stemming from family systemic issues, Men's Mental Health and Asian-Australian Mental Health.
Coming from a Vietnamese-Australian background, Patrick also speaks Vietnamese and can practice in a culturally informed approach for Asian-Australian patients.
Patrick is also a Board-Approved Supervisor.
Patrick also works in a Multi-Disciplinary Team at OCD Bounce, Sydney Children Hospital (Randwick) when not at Thought Bubble Psychology.
