Biography:

Meet Michael, a highly skilled General Psychologist registered with APHRA, with a strong passion for helping children and families. With extensive experience in evidence-based psychological interventions, including CBT, ACT, and Motivational Interviewing, Michael has helped many clients overcome various challenges.

Michael has a strong understanding of psychometric assessment, and knowledge of verbal reasoning and situational judgement tests. His expertise in accessing the cognitive, behavioural, and emotional needs of the client utilising a range of assessment techniques and tools enables him to design intervention plans that are holistic and outcomes-driven.

With his demonstrated ability to build rapport with families and children, Michael is highly skilled in developing the skills of children with Autism. Michael possess a strong and well developed understanding of ASD and developmental disorders, enabling him to provide tailored support to his clients.

Michael is experienced in the NDIS sector and has worked within a multi-disciplinary team. He is highly proficient in producing accurate client files, reports, and communicating with other health professionals. Additionally, Michael has strong written and verbal communication skills and is bilingual, enabling him to communicate effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Michael has completed an Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition (ADOS-2) course at La Trobe University in 2023. He holds a Graduate Diploma of Psychology from Deakin University in 2019 and a Bachelor of Science (Psychology) from Deakin University in 2016.
